This weekend I went and caught the latest chapter in the Underworld franchise. Underworld:Awakening. One thing I noticed about our two famous heroines of today, Alice and Selena, is that they have very powerful men behind them. Both Milla and Kate are married to the directors. Kate is married to Len Wiseman and creator of Underworld, while Milla Jovovich is married to producer, writer, and director, Paul W. Anderson, of the Resident Evil series.
So far, in its last 10 weeks of release, Underworld:Awakening has made an estimated $45,126,000 domestically, and about $85,126,000 worldwide.
Underworld:Awakening is rated R for violence, and runs about one hour and 28 minutes.

"Underworld: Rise of the Lycans" gave us a backstory that shed light on our main characters Selene, and Michael. The story was both romantic and horrifying at the same time. A lot of emotion flowed between the characters Lucien and Sonja. We see how they related to the relationship between Michael and Selene and how Viktor played his evil role. Read more...
